It's mid week, kids are looking mangy (homeschool and COVID-era, is there anybody who DOES NOT look mangy?) and in need of a fun snack. I am too exhausted and too desparate for a glass of wine to from-scratch bake them anything. Enter Sticky Fingers Bakeries Vanilla Funfetti scones. Quick, easy, delicious and about as close to homemade as I can ever come.
Kind of like a scone, kind of like a donut...and totally delicious.
What is Sticky Fingers Bakeries?
Sticky Fingers is a baking mix brand that I have partnered with recently and I couldn't be happier or prouder to promote their products. Originally a bake shop in San Diego, they turned their popular scones into a baking mix, so busy moms like me can whip up something of quality for thier families for in a hot minute.
They sell sweet and savory scones - and let me tell you, the cheddar and chive scones are TO DIE FOR.
Funfetti in a scone?
Yes and I am not playing. Think, your kids fave birthday cake when they were little, or their favorite donut...but adulted a little bit.

Vanilla funfetti scones
Ingredients
- 1 package Sticky Fingers Bakeries Vanilla Funfetti Scone-Nut mix
- ½ cup super cold water
- Chocolate glaze mix
- 1 tablespoon of water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a bowl combine the Sticky Fingers Bakeries scone-nut mix with the ½ cup of cold water and stir together with a fork. Drop or scoop the batter onto the parchment lined baking sheet (I used an ice cream scooper for uniformity and even baking). Bake 13-15 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on a rack.
- To make the chocolate glaze, put the glaze mix in a bowl and slowly add the one tablespoon of water and whisk until smooth. Drizzle over your cooled scones and dig right in!
