Chili is one of those super subjective foods. There is a million recipes, and everyone seems to have a favorite. And I have my favorite too, don't get me wrong. But just because I have one favorite chili recipe, doesn't mean other chili recipes aren't damn delicious.
You can pretty much never go wrong with a homemade bowl of chili. It's versatile, there is so many unique recipes, it freezes well and it is hearty enough to be a meal on it's own. Also bonus - it is great to make in a slow cooker in large amounts for parties, and is a great tailgate food.
