Ingredients
For the blueberry sauce
1cupblueberries
¼cupsugar
2tablespoonwater
For the margarita
¼cupblueberry sauce
6tablespoontequila blancoyour brand preference
6tablespoonlime juice
4tablespoonCointreau or Grand Marnier
Ice
Fresh blueberries for garnish
Lime slice for garnish
Instructions
To make the blueberry sauce
Puree in a blender or a small food processor (this recipe amount is not enough for a full sized processor), or an immersion blender, the blueberries, sugar and water. Keep extra in a mason jar in the fridge for other cocktails or awesome uses.
To make the margarita
Combine all your ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously to combine all the ingredients.
To assemble a margarita
Rub the rim of a glass with salt, add ice to the glass and pour margarita through the strain top of a cocktail shaker. Garnish with a few fresh blueberries and a lime slice.
