Chicken pitas

A classic Greek handheld and an all around favorite of many, chicken pitas are so easy to make you'll never need to order them for carryout.

Marinade ingredients

– Yogurt.  – Dried herbs. Oregano, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, sumac – Fresh garlic – Lemon – Olive oil – Salt and pepper – Boneless, skinless chicken breasts and/or thighs.

How to make

Stir the marinade ingredients together

Add the chicken and marinade at least 30mins

Grill or roast the marinaded chicken

Slice the chicken to assemble the pitas

How to make Greek fries

Place in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet.

After 25 minutes, toss with the chopped garlic and cook 10 more minutes

Assembling chicken pitas

Fill a warm pita with the chicken, fries, your favorite veggie toppings and feta cheese
